DesignerLogic Categorizes each Item on a Project with a SalesCode. This is essentially the same thing as an 'Item in Quickbooks.'


Your account starts with a default SalesCode list when you register with DesignerLogic Cloud. You can modify this list by deleting or adding SalesCodes. This is done in Account/Settings:



Each NEW Item you create on a Project or Proposal will require a SalesCode. When you select the SalesCode from the list above it will automatically take the Default Markup and Tax Settings and transfer them to the new Item. 


You can change the Markup and Tax Settings on each Item individually. It will not update your Settings/SalesCodes list.
