My client has new email address. I updated new email address in her client portal. Emails are still going to her old address?
The emails will go to the email address in the Client Portal. If you changed the client's email address after making the Client Portal for her then it's best to 'edit' the Client Portal (there's a pencil icon next to the name that will take you to the edit page) and update the email address there as well.
Whichever email address is in the Client Portal itself is where all emails will go.
